Overseeing the program at Las Ventanas is PBI tennis professional Claudio Bravo who has many years of experience in all facets of teh game, from winning high school state championships and competing at the college varsity level to teaching at tennis academies, tennis clubs and resorts. Most recently, Bravo oversaw the PBI tennis program at Reynolds Plantation in Georgia, providing personalized instructional and social programs for club members and guests of the Ritz-Carlton hotel.
The addition of PBI's world-class instruction is another key component of a tennis program that sets industry standards. Las Ventanas is known for its special touches and attention to detail, and the resort's unique style of pampering is offered on the courts, too. A court attendant is on duty to provide a full array of complimentary services, from retrieving balls for guests during a tournament, to ensuring that guests remain cool and comfortable by providing cold towels, spray mists, light refreshments and bottled water. A large Mexican palapa (natural umbrella made of thatched and woven palm fronds) provides a shady place for guests to rest between sets. The facilities comprise two hard-surface courts with excellent lighting so guests can enjoy the cool evenings.
